- Andy Brenits is the current President of InSource, the industry association for in-house creative leaders. Passionate about the design process and how design can be used to increase, even drive, profitability when used effectively and consistently, he’s been providing thought leadership, creative solutions, and big ideas for over 20 years. An inspired design leader, Andy is accomplished at driving strategy and process for creative teams and has a strong record in building, managing, and leading creative teams that deliver exceptional business results and creative ideas.Andy's career began working on staff at small studios in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, and quickly earned responsibilities at large corporations such as the National Football League, Banana Republic, The Gap, and KPMG. From 1999 to 2007 he was a design consultant offering his expertise directly to businesses that understand the value design can bring to their continued success.Andy recently relocated to Phoenix Arizona with his Family to (re)start the Creative Services team within the Corporate Communication group at Arizona Public Service. His team of designers, video producers, and photographers create the majority of APS’s internal and external marketing and communications collateral while working closely with external ad agencies on larger campaigns.In addition to his professional design work, Andy was the Visiting Adjunct Professor of Design Management in the Graduate Communications and Packaging Design program at the prestigious Pratt Institute for 8 years, and Assistant Professor of Design at Rowan University for 4 years. He has also lead numerous roundtables on in-house creative topics, and was a panelist at the HOW in-house managers conference. He has a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts, and a Masters Degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute.
